Jason is creative professional with a long standing career that continues to see him move into new and exciting creative initiatives. He believes that compelling content, no matter what the medium, has the power to ignite imaginations and inspire change.
Over the past 20 years, Jason has held senior creative positions at some of New York’s leading advertising agencies, including Ogilvy and Euro RSCG, where he worked on global accounts such as IBM and Volvo. Such opportunities have seen Jason collaborate with some of the world’s leading corporations and image makers to create compelling brand experiences and stories.
Fuelled by a passion for the arts, Jason recently founded Edmund Pearce, a contemporary art space dedicated to the appreciation and understanding of photography. Since the gallery’s inception he has established Edmund Pearce at the forefront of Melbourne’s photographic and artistic community.
Through the gallery and other unique initiatives Jason strives to promote the highest standards of contemporary arts practice within Australia. Currently he sits on the Melbourne committee of the Ballarat International Foto Biennale and is one of the founding members of Nite Art. He has also recently launched Pearce Press, a publishing company specialising in photographic monographs, with its first publication Darkness of Noon by Derek Henderson launched in conjunction with the Loreal Melbourne fashion festival in February of this year.
