An interview with Sydney-based Printmaker Bruce Latimer in his gome studio. Bruce explained his fascination with ‘the silly things we do”, referring to man and his (our) relentless rape and pillage of our the environment. For sure there is humour in the depiction of way we blunder though our self-destruction but in Bruce’s words “It must be beautiful” and indeed the work is precisely that. Lush forests of steel and foliage littered with the evidence of naughty little people. Wonderful.
